Meet Dr. StephanieDr. Stephanie is a unique dentist who truly enjoys working with children and teens. She discovered this in high school when she taught piano to local children and worked in a daycare center in Easton, PA. Her memories of the children's sincere appreciation and affection followed her to Columbia University in New York City where she earned her doctorate degree. Strengthened by her work with children in dental school, she then pursued her Pediatric Dentistry residency at the Montefiore Medical Center in New York where she was honored with an Achievement Award for Patient Care and Teaching. During her residency she gained extensive experience in various sedation techniques while treating medically complex children. After receiving her certificate, she went into private practice in Rye, New York while remaining on staff at Montefiore as an assistant professor. Although her patients and staff were sad to see her go, Dr. Stephanie and her husband decided to relocate to Bellevue to raise their two young children. As a parent herself, Dr. Stephanie can personally relate to parental concerns. It is this empathy that has guided many of her treatment philosophies for her young patients. Dr. Stephanie loves her job so much because she is driven by the knowledge that she can make a difference in the health of children. Dr. Stephanie is active with the Washington State Dental Society and volunteers dental services for underprivileged children. In her spare time, Dr. Stephanie and her family enjoy exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Dr. Stephanie is also a classically trained violinist and led the Bucknell University Orchestra as concertmaster. She looks forward to sharing her musical gifts with her children, Alex and Kira.
